Geraldine Somerville

Geraldine Margaret AgnewSomerville is an Irish born British actress known for her role as Detective Sergeant Jane Penhaligon in Cracker , for which she was nominated for the 1995 BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress, and for playing Lily Potter in the Harry Potter film series. Her other film appearances include Gosford Park , My Week with Marilyn and Grace of Monaco .

Geraldine AgnewSomerville was born in County Meath, Ireland, the daughter of Sir Quentin Charles AgnewSomerville, 2nd Baronet, and Margaret April Irene, Lady AgnewSomerville , an antiques dealer, but was brought up on the Isle of Man.
